Trading

Kali ini saya akan menjelaskan mengenai Trading atau sering kita sebut dengan Transaksi.....
Transaksi bisa dilakukan antar pemain untuk bertukar barang ataupun uang...untuk lebih lengkap silakan pelajari di sini....

Trading

Personal exchange

Trading is the basic method of exchanging items and money and the only way to make gifts. But remember - there's a big difference between making gifts/helping your friends and fully promoting newbies.

To start trading, select a person you wish to trade with and use Initiate a Trade skill (found in Basic Skills)
Trade Skill.png

If he/she accepts your trade request, you can put items/money you wish to trade in the left box. To put some money in, click on any currency symbol (marked with a red frame).
If you're ready for exchange, click the Lock button. When your partner does it too, trade will be done, unless someone doesn't have enough bag slots.

Other trading methods

Personal stall

You can trade with all players at the same time. To start vending, use Vend skill (found in Basic Skills)
Vend Skill.png

The upper box is for items you want to sell. Drag here some goods from your bag and enter price. In lower box you can drag items you want to buy. Keep in mind that not everyone will buy at such prices as you type. Check Trade Realm or Auction House for current prices.
The next important thing is your stall name. Choose it wisely, your potential clients like to know what they can buy or sell. The name can contain only 13 characters, sometimes it isn't enough, in this case you can write for example: WTB/WTS.

Auction House

Main Article
Vending takes a lot of time. If you want to sell or buy quickly and then go, the Auction House is perfect solution. There are all offers taken by players from whole server. It's easy way to find items you want and check the worth of your stuff. Each of your auctions cost some Soul Coins. After successful sale, your profits are lowered by fee (2% of total profit). Due to this money loss, rare and expensive items are often traded through the World Chat.

Auction House

Auction House is an easy way to find and sell the things you need. It's also easy to use and in case of selling items you don't need to be online.

Auctioneers are located in Freedom Harbor - the most popular one is Grandet located on Harbour's City Square right in front of Magic Fountain. There are also other Auctioneers in Libra Bazaar located in a small house next to the Blacksmith and Gabriel.

How to use

Ah02.png
1. Search
You can freely browse through the categories to find what you need and it's possible to change the results of your search to find the desired items faster.
You can use Search functions to look for certain item using key words but you need to be very precise. Small and big letters do matter and the filtrate might fail if you did not write the part of the item name correctly.
For Example: We want to find parts from Priest's armor set from Lost Lighthouse. Knowing that each part starts from the name "Katrina" so we type it into the searching box and click Search. After few seconds we receive a complete list of items that are currently selling with the word "Katrina" - that means we see now all the parts from the desired set.
You can also click on the upper bar of the list where are informations like Quality/Level/Name/ect to change the sorting of the list. Like clicking on Quality will sort the list from the worst item quality to the best or inversely. Or for example from the lowest buyout price to the highest.

2. My bidding
List of items you are currently bidding.

3. My Auction
List of items you are currently selling.
(For more information look at the guide below)

4. Received
List of items or money you obtained from the Auction House.

5. Bid and Buyout
Bid is of course the amount of money you can place for a certain item. You can change the amount of money freely using small boxes next to those two buttons. When you're bidding on an item check if you have enough money in the bag. Each time you place a bid money disappears from your bag to be placed on auction and when someone places a bid higher than yours you can get your funds back from the Received tab. You might want to keep this in mind since sometimes you will have to quickly tab to get back your money in order to place a higher bid on your desired item.
It's worth mentioning that when you fight for a certain item on auction the time is also very important. If the time to end is lower than 5 minutes and a new bid appears it will be changed back to 5 minutes and it will keep resetting until someone gives up and won't place up a higher bid.
For example: We placed a bid on auction and the time to it's end is 2 minutes. Someone else wants this item as well and placed a higher bid than ours. The time will be changed back to 5 minutes. We placed a higher amount of money than our opponent and the timer resets again to 5 minutes and so on until one of us decides that it's not worth to go further.
Buyout is simply an option to buy the item right away without bothering of taking part of an auction.

Selling through Auction House

Selling through Auction House is easy and it doesn't require you being online the whole time.
This is how the window looks for your auctions:

1. Place for your item - you can sell basicly everything that is tradeable like in case of Personal Shops however depending on the type and amount of your items the fee can be higher and it might be more profitable to sell them through the player shop instead of auction. The Service Fee is visible at the end of the table. You can also set the time of the auction (the longer auction time the fee will be also higher) and decide if you want your name to be displayed or sell as Anonymous person.

2. Full list of your items - there is no limit in how many auctions you can start. All of them will be listed here. You can also freely remove them any time by using the Remove button in the lower right corner of the window (get your item back through Received tab just like money you get from them).

3. Money - you can freely set the price for your items. Just keep in mind that if it will be too high your item won't sell. It's better to do the recognition in market first before selling anything - especially items that are more expensive to put on auction.
Hint: People are often confused by boxes where they need to put the price. So they go like this: Diamond / Gold / Silver / Copper. So the first box is for Diamond - last one for Copper.
When you're done with setting everything click 'Auction button to start your own auction!

Currency

Coins.png
In Forsaken World we have two currencies: Soul Coins and Gold Coins. Both of them have different purposes in game and even if it sounds confusing for the first time understanding them is easy. You can check the status of your funds in anytime in your bag window. You can also store part of your money in Stash. They are counted as Diamonds (D), Golds (G), Silvers (S) and Coppers (C).

Soul Coins

Soul Coins are bound to the player's character and can be used only for transactions with NPCs, like buying necessary basic supplies, paying for their services, teleporting from one land to another, or buying out EXP Aid.

How to obtain:
  • Finishing quests
  • Killing monsters
  • Selling items to NPCs

Gold Coins

Gold Coins are the currency available for players to trade with other people in game, paying for special services of NPCs or some of them will accept payment in this currency for their items. It can be also used to pay for NPCs services when you run out of Soul Coins but it's not really profitable. This currency is also a bit harder to get than soul coins.

How to obtain:

Personal Shops

Shop.png
Shop01.png
One of the easiest way to obtain Gold Coins is to sell various items (Gear, Crafting Materials, Eyrda Boutique items etc.) through a personal shop. It will take some time before you will sell everything but with the right price it shouldn't be a problem.
The best place to open the shop is Trade Realm in-game. This realm is not different from others but its basic purpose is to gather sellers in one place to make the work easier for both sides - sellers and customers.
To open your shop open the action window ("E" key) and choose Vend from the list of basic commands. Drag the items to a new window (Selling box), set the price, title of your shop and click "Done" when you're ready.
You can also use the shop for buying materials you need if you're going to open a new business for a while anyway. If you have enough money in the bag you can drag the item you need to the lower box (Buying) and upon opening your shop players interested with selling the things you need might sell it to you right away.
If you want to negotiate with the seller about the price of the item he has in shop and he's not around you can leave him a message that will be displayed in his shop history window. To leave the message type it in the small box below "Selling/Buying boxes and click Send.
